Who we are 

PADS is a small charity run by a committee of volunteers based in West Yorkshire.

We have no paid employees and rely entirely people working for us in their spare time. Despite this, to keep our services running we require funding, just like any other charitable organisation.

Increasing our community of members is essential to maintaining the level of service we pride ourselves on offering the public.

Why Join Us?

In a nutshell, to support our work and help keep our services going. We couldn't do it without you.

 

UK Membership
Membership for individuals

If you join us as an individual you'll:

  1. Receive a subscription to our magazine, Pawprints (issued 3 times a year)
  2. Benefit from free entries at our dog shows
  3. Be given access to our website 'members only' area
  4. Enjoy full voting rights at the society's General Meetings
  5. Receive a free lapel badge featuring our logo dog, Paddy
  6. Become a part of a supportive community of people who care about dogs and their welfare

Adult membership (over 18s) £10.00

Joint membership (2 adults at same address) £15.00

Concessionary membership (under 18s/seniors) £7.50

Membership for businesses, clubs etc

Affiliated membership is available for clubs, businesses and other oganisations who support our aims.

As an affiliated member you'll:

  1. Be given access to our website 'members only' area 
  2. Receive a Membership certificate to show everyone you support us
  3. Receive a trophy which you can award to help promote your club or business
  4. Enjoy voting rights at the Society's General Meetings
  5. Benefit from the right to use our name and logo on your stationery
  6. Receive three copies of each issue of our magazine, Pawprints, 3 times a year for your members or clients

Affiliate membership costs £20 per year and is available on application. If you would like to join, please email details of your organisation (name, contact details, aims, website if you have one etc).  We'll send you details of how to join.

 

Overseas Membership Fees

You are welcome to join PADS, wherever you live, and overseas members are very welcome. Overseas (outside the UK) memberships are available at the above rates, plus P&P for newsletters at cost. Please email us for details, telling us the country you live in, before joining, so we can send you costs.

    Remember to send us details of your organisation if you are applying for affilaiate membership. Please do not send cash in the post.
