Some great information, but the 'labradoodle' is not actually a breed, it is a cross with a fancy name! Like crossing a beagle with a dalmation and calling it a dalegle or beamation.
PADS says: Agreed, this isn't a KC recognised breed, and we have edited the intro to make that clearer. We do, however, get lots of queries about Labradoodles, and other increasingly popular first crosses like Cockerpoos (cocker spaniel/poodles). When it came to publishing the article, the 'Best of Breeds' section is where we felt people were most likely to look for it.
